Whether your dream is to compete inside the ring, command the microphone, or call the action from outside the ropes, the Academy is where the journey begins.

What We Offer
The Pro Wrestling Academy provides a comprehensive education in professional wrestling, including:

In-Ring Training – Fundamentals, advanced techniques, match structure, psychology, conditioning, and safety.

Referee Training – Rules, timing, positioning, and the art of being the “third person in the ring.”

Personality Development – Promo skills, character work, ringside presence, and how to enhance talent.

On-Screen Performance – Students learn how to connect with audiences both live and on camera.

When & Where
The Pro Wrestling Academy provides a comprehensive education in professional wrestling and sports entertainment, including:

Location – The WrestlePlex. 1335 Dixieanne Avenue, Sacramento, California.

Weekday Training – Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6PM.

Weekend Training – Sundays at 10AM. (Except on Sundays following a NLPW TV Taping.

Head Trainer: “The Machine” Tony Vargas – A respected veteran of the sport, Vargas is known for his unmatched toughness, precision, and ability to instill discipline in every student who steps through the ropes. Trained by California wrestling legend, "The Irresistible" Jason Styles, Vargas bring his decades of experience to every session.

Assistant Trainers: Don Swole-Léon combining charisma and strength. Don prepares students for the physical and psychological demands of performing at the highest level. BLAQlight brings firsthand experience in what it takes to succeed under the bright lights and in front of the fans.

Age Requirement: The Pro Wrestling Academy offers wrestling instruction to anyone who’s dream it is to be a professional wrestler. Applicants over the age of 18 (16 with parental permission) are encouraged to join

Athletic Requirement: The Academy encourages future students to be in a fit and healthy shape, but it is not a requirement. There are no height or weight limit or requirements. All sizes welcome. At The Pro Wrestling Academy you will be conditioned upon enrollment.

Dress Requirement: Gym clothes such as T-shirt, Shorts, Kneepads and Athletic Shoes are required to train at The Pro Wrestling Academy.
