Tony Vargas is one of the most decorated and respected competitors in NLPW history, the only man to achieve Triple Crown Champion status by capturing the Heavyweight, Television, and Tag Team Championships over the course of his career. Known for his toughness, veteran savvy, and no-nonsense approach inside the ring, Vargas was a cornerstone of the promotion from its earliest days, battling legends and rising stars alike. His final chapter came at Battle for Freedom 2025, where he fell to Chuckie D in a brutal clash for the Television Championship, a loss that marked not just the end of a title reign, but the end of his in-ring career.
Though retired from competition, Vargas’ presence looms as large as ever in Next Level Pro Wrestling. As the highly respected head trainer of The Pro Wrestling Academy, he now guides the next generation of wrestlers, passing on the knowledge and discipline that made him a champion in every division he entered. To the students who train under him, Vargas is both mentor and measuring stick; to the fans, he remains a symbol of excellence and grit. In the ring, Vargas’ legacy is etched in stone—forever remembered as one of the pillars of Next Level Pro Wrestling.
